fermented soy beans
It’s been my first full week with new missionary elder Mathews in the apartment, and it’s been way fun! The three of us have just been introducing him to all sorts of crazy stuff, including natto! (fermented soy beans). He’s been handling it surprisingly well, and the highlight of the week ended up being elder Rostrom’s first natto experience.
I think his last words were ‘there’s a snail trail in my mouth’!
Our two main investigators
Other than that, we’ve taught investigators, knocked on doors…
Our two main investigators (Hidemichi and Haruna, siblings) both need to turn twenty (Japanese age of majority) before they can get baptized, so not too much changes from week to week with them. We just need more investigators!
Oh, something exciting this week–usually we would have had Zone Training Meeting his week, but president Egan decided to come by for Zone Conference! We got some great trainings on Faith, Hope, and Diligence, on goals, and on bike safety, and heard some way inspirational stories.
Also, members in Kagoshima made us lunch, which was way good…
Members are awesome!
Anyway, that’s about it!
I hope everyone has a great week! Love you all!!!
