I hope the weather’s nice wherever you’re reading this from! It’s been a little chilly here, but other than that it’s been way nice: no rain or anything.
So this week was a little on the slower side, but it went by really fast. Except for Wednesday. On Wednesday Elder Jackson and I tried to fix Onaka Kyoudai [Brother Onaka], (the brother that got baptized when I got here) ‘s bike. Emphasis on the word tried. We were hoping we could fix it up so he’d be able to get to church on his own, but it turns out that he needs his whole front tube replaced, cause it’s the wrong size for some reason…
Anyway, that took our whole afternoon, but we did get a good lesson with him that evening.
We also had a lesson with our other recent convert, but the five or so other lessons we had planned, with a new investigator and some potentials, all fell through. 😥
This coming week should be very interesting though–our four man apartment is going down to a three man companionship! We got a call from President Egan, and apparently an elder in a different area had to go home cause of health issues, so Elder Murdock (the district leader’s companion) is going in to replace him. It’s pretty sad… 😦
Elder Yamashita of the area presidency is going to do a mission tour!
There’ll be a taikai [conference] on Thursday, Feb 18, so we all have to get haircuts and shine our shoes and such…
Plus we’ll probably have to go up the night before, so it’s pretty exciting!
And that’s it!
I love you all!! Have a great week!
