On June 10th Stephen entered the Provo Missionary Training Center (MTC)!!
In order to help missionaries stay focused on the Lord’s work, the leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints “have determined that missionaries may, under the guidelines established by their mission president, communicate with their family, friends, priesthood leaders, and new converts via email during their missionary service.”
Usually this is only once a week, on Preparation day (P-day), which is usually on Mondays. We look forward to hearing from him on his first P-day!
Preparation days are reserved for missionaries to prepare for the upcoming week. That’s when they go shopping, clean their apartment, do their laundry, write emails and letters, and occasionally, when there’s enough time, do some wholesome activities, like service, sports, or sightseeing.
Stephen will be at the MTC till June 23rd, when he will fly to Fukuoka Japan. Until then, here is his mailing address:
